OAA

A Message from Our Family to Yours

To Our Extremely Valued Customers,

For many years OAA was just an idea.  A dream I wanted to follow to encompass all of my positive experiences in our amazing sport to create something unique.  A place open to all ages and abilities (for the young and young-at-heart).  Through the many experiences I had growing up, a consistently positive part of my life has always been ‘the gym.’  Sport has taught me many things, but above all it should be a place to build someone up, feel a sense of accomplishment (when paired with challenge), and a safe place for anyone to feel welcome and comfortable to be themselves.  In such a crazy time in the world, OAA is missing the amazing people that normally fill our space, and truly make it the welcoming atmosphere that it is.  Please always know that ‘we,’ the staff here at OAA are here for you and we miss you!  Never be afraid to speak up, there are a lot of free resources available for mental health, below are a few I would recommend.  While we wait at home, enjoy the details in life that sometimes fall through the cracks when we get lost in ‘the grind,’ such as: reading, exercise, research, planning, reflection, rest, and spending time with family (either at-home, or the many other ways to communicate).  With all of the craziness outside of our homes, take comfort in the many things we can (and should) cherish with the people we love.  Stay home and stay safe.
