The Osborne Academy of Acrobatics Inc. received the Amateur Sports Award for 2020 from the City of Pickering.

This year’s Gymnastic Ontario’s Championship for Trampoline and Tumbling was held at the Pickering Recreation Centre and hosted by the Osborne Academy of Acrobatics (OAA).

Power tumbling, trampoline and double-mini trampoline are all disciplines in gymnastics that require speed, strength, body control and precision.

Two of Canada’s most decorated gymnasts were in Pickering recently, competing at the 2018 Second Ontario Cup for Trampoline and Tumbling at the Pickering Soccer Centre March 23-25.

Disha Tandon competed in the 2017 Elite Ontario for Trampoline and Tumbling competition held at the Pickering Recreation Complex Saturday. She finished third in women’s level 5, 16-and-under individual trampoline.

The Osborne Academy of Acrobatics in Pickering will welcome two-time Olympic gold-medallist Rosie MacLennan for the 2017 Elite Ontario for Trampoline and Tumbling competition Saturday, May 27.

We’re proud to announce that one of OAA’s athletes, Kiara MacLean, attended the 2015 World Age Group Trampoline and Tumbling Championships in Denmark.

2016 was a big year for OAA, with 7 of our athletes attending the national championships in Edmonton.
